LASALLE is sadly lax on integrated group-work between faculties. I am trying to get a few people on board, but I'm not sure they'll even have time to record an original score, considering the animation needs to be done at least at sketch-level to record over the top of it, and there's no telling when that will be at this rate.

For what it's worth, I would KILL to try out for this! Unfortunately, I've been dealing with The Cold From Hellβ’ for the past 2 weeks, and of course, I found out about this shortly before it set in thinking that I'd have all the time in the world over the holiday break to record something and send it off. >_<
I DO know that I'm on the mend. That's the good news. The bad news is that "on the mend" means I'm over everything but the dry, hoarse (no pun inten--... okay, pun SO intended, but I digress), can't-quite-get-my-voice-to-do-what-I-want-it-to voice. I'm hoping that another couple of days will see me back where I need to be to get a good demo recorded. Is there a deadline date set for demos to be in? Or, will another couple of days be okay for me? I'm just wondering.

I know someone who's interested, but he only has access to decent recording equipment at his work and, well, they were closed for the holidays.
If everything works out however, he could record an audition next week (but it would be nice if I could tell him if it's still worth it or not).

I've found actors for Louis and Santiago I am very happy with, and will be deciding the voice for James once I get back to Singapore tomorrow. If he can get it to me before then, then I'll consider him as well.

I don't think that will be possible, Monday really is the earliest he can have access to the equipment. So I'll let him know it won't be neccessary no more.
Though, if you find yourself unhappy with the candidates for James maybe he could still send in an audition as he was going to try out for James... So just let me know and I'll see what can be done in that case.

Hey now, no need to sass me I wasn't trying to insult you. Santiago just never read as similiar to frollo before. Mostly because in the storyboards I've seen of him he didn't do much talking and seemed more of a brute than an intelligent and dangerous villian. Frollo was a well executed villian, I was trying to pay you a compliment.

I always imagined louis having a voice like Paul Kandel... He kind of reminds me of Clopin in some ways.

Love to do it! I can do a pretty convincing man's voice, BUT to do that and get rid of my thick texan accent would probably make my voice sound too strained and stilted. Wish I could! Getting rid of the accent is one thing, but both.... oh well.

I can do a half-decent french accent in a tenor, but I think the mileage would kill my chances more than anything.
Also, is Louis gaining weight? He looks almost...chubby! O_o

I'm also familiar with speaking French ( I'm by no means fluent lol but I'm quite good at pronunciation =] )
