Don't holo-call Laz'ab while he's busy. In fact, it's generally good practice not to holo-call him at all. Contacting Laz'ab is widely considered to be a serious hazard to your health and has been known to shorten lifespans by several decades.

You know, this just helps one look in perspective how bloody the first trilogy was when it came to violence and disembowements and imprompto amputations. (Not sure if I spelled it right).
And by that, I mean that this is one brilliant piece of art O _ O

The first trilogies work better because they weren't strictly "for kids"; Lucas tried too hard to market the new trilogy to the younger audience, censoring everything and introducing unnecessary "comedy" through means of JarJar and the like. Frankly, I'm drawn to the nittier, gritter side of Star Wars; it's less utopic than the Trek stories which, while also full of conflicts, depict fewer poverty-stricken worlds and "low tech" sci-fi.

Say, I'm doing some armature VA work at the moment, and I'd love to try and do a reading of La'zab if it is at all possible. I mean he's your character and all but I'd love to do a brief interoperation with your permission of course.

I would certainly be interested to hear your interpretation of Laz'ab. If you want any hints as to how I hear him in my head, he is inspired a lot by Alice Cooper - rasping, gravelly, but not a deep sound. He is also pitchy, especially when he gets angry. His whispering/voices is more akin to Deathstars - try 'Tongues' by Deathstars, or 'Wind Up Toy' by Alice Cooper.

Oh my gosh so funny. And his line about working.... that sounded in my head like the line Gene Wilder said in Young Frankenstein... was that a intended nod or my own madness? very likely with the later but 
Regardless though I am sure it is some unhealthy fascination I freaking love La'zab (though wisely am keeping a distance and don't wish to interrupt his work) I love his expression in that second to last panel especially. Typical day in the office for him obviously, seems seeing his minions hurling via holo-grams as well is rather common given his line of work, very awesome work, I love you art and so love your comics.
