Takara is owned & designed by me

my first birdfolk! I bought her MYO slot over the summer and i have been working on her design ever since. she was inspired by a Horned Puffin, Crow and Raven <3

Takara is a Tailor in the Giant Thicket Village. She is a high-end designer who often travels out of her village to collect material and metal findings from markets or traveling merchants. During most of her travels she collects thorn vines from the thickets outside of town and dries them to display in her home or craft into sculptures when she is not busy. Takara is a very friendly Akriri with an enchantingly kind personality, she finds it easy to chat with strangers which also makes her a great salesperson. She spends a large majority of her time sewing cloaks by hand and even taking custom orders from the townsfolk! She takes pride in her work and puts as much time and detail into each garment until she deems them perfect. The lengthy amount of time spent on the cloaks is mainly due to her being over observant and frequently critiquing herself however, this is a good thing because every piece of clothing is made with care.

Takara owns a rather 'upscale' two story cloak shop. There she sells primarily cloaks but also has a small stock of scarves and wraps, most of which are garnished with metal grommets, hoops, clasp and other findings which is what makes them of a higher quality. The walls are painted a dusk black with two brass candle lantern on each wall and on the floor is a giant round red rug with plum and burgundy floral embroidery which matches the colors of her favorite robe. The rug covers a large majority of the boutique and was handmade by a merchant whom she met at a market during one of her travels. The boutique has two parallel walls with floor to ceiling shelves built inside of the walls, these store a all remaining cloaks that are not displayed on the dozen mannequins in the shop. In the center of the center of the room there is a large table with two smaller tables nested partially underneath it, one the right and left side. These walnut wood tables hold the scarves and above these tables hanging from the ceiling is a large woven orb made from some of Takara's thorn vine collection, this is set up to be the main focal point when a customer enters the boutique.

The top floor is Takara's living quarters which is littered with trinkets and clothing found during her travels to other villages as well as a rather obsessive amount of dried vines with large thorns on them. She finds these vines beautiful in the way they curl and intertwine with each other and they are displayed in large vases or in the corners of the room which makes them look as though they are creeping onto the walls. she also has an array of white candles on nearly every table surface in the house, this is because the low lighting is easier on her eyes and she also finds it very relaxing. The walls of her room are a shade of plum with one accent wall which is vertically striped with both plum and mulberry. From the ceiling hangs one of Takara's most prized possessions; a rather large brass lantern which is nearly the size of Takara herself! it 6 glass panels each with a half a mandala flower carved from brass om the lower half of each panel. Takara spends most of her time at a walnut wooden table near the back wall of her room where she crafts her shops merchandise.
