Are you a master? Have you caught them all? Did you raise a Magicarp into a Gyarados? Well, I sure as hell haven't caught them all, but that doesn't change the fact that I-AM-A-POKEMON-MASTER! Here’s my proof:[link]
Even major celebrities like The 1-Up Show’s Jeremy Parish, and Shane Bettenhausen are willing to leave the closet and publicly embrace the Pokemon Masters within themselves. I hope that the readers of this strip are willing to do the same themselves. Let's throw off our shackles of shame!

Well, I may have been a huge fan, but never THAT badly! I would pretend my stuffies were Pokémon and make them fight all the time, but NEVER would I commit animal abuse!

XDDDDDDDDDDDD I've actually told my dog (named Arcanine, caving into my older brother's protests against Growlithe and him growing as big as on) to use bite attack and other various, more realistic Pokemon attacks on our other dog.

Kids are kids. When I was a kid we didn't have any of these newfangled NARUTO ninjas. All we had were ugly green anthropomorphic turtle men.
I had such an unhealthy obsession with Ninja Turtles. I wanted to find a tub of mutagen and transform myself into Donatello. In a way, I got my wish. I became a nerdy loser who never leaves his shell. TURTLE POWER!

I used to play Pokemon allllll the time in high school. Back when the screen was one color- green! And you only had Pokemon Red and Blue and you were grateful for it! Ah, I'm old. Also I loved Pokemon Stadium and that pokemon photography video game, I thought that was so cute. The game is just so addicting.

Not in every case. For one, it seems that the cat was a much higher level than the dog. Normally Fury Swipes has an attack power of only 18, but since the cat was fighting-type and the dog was normal-type the attack was super effective. These two factors combined lead to the dogs quick KO.

That's what I get for trying to be funny before I have my facts together. I have to admit my Pokemon was pretty rusty at the time. I just picked up Pearl that day and hadn't really played it yet. Had I made the same comment today, I would've never made such an amateurish mistake.
