A picture of Ariel and Melody, I was just in the mood to draw melody so I did a picture of her with her mom. I always admired their relationship because although in the beginning they had problems they worked through those problems and came to understand each other in the end. I always wanted that for me and my mother. No use in wishing for the impossible -_-OTHER MELODY WORKS:

At first sight it can look flat cause it's not that shadowed, and Ariel's arm looks a bit too thin... but you forget those little things cause you get totally lost in the sweetness of the all drawing!!!
You can feel their complicity, you can definitely tell they're mother and daughter! their expressions say it!!! 
Besides i like the contrast beetween hair and dress in both Ariel and Melody! They balance each other and the whole really works visually!!!! Great choices!! 
As many has already said, the details in the gown are amazing!!!!

Aww, I love it! Such a tender image and I am a huge fan of their faces, I love how you added your own spin there. I adore the gowns too, they are really unique and remind me of the outrageous costumes the princesses wear.
