George Carlin's a jackass. And Mel Brooks is a much better philosopher than he is.

Carlin was the only man that made me feel comfortable with how things are, I know I can't change them so I must learn to live with them. He taught me just that: to make a joke of it. It really is all humorous when given thought to. Rest in peace, Carlin. You will be greatly missed.

May the thinking man's comic rest in peace.

Loved him. He was a genius stand-up comic, and his roles in the movies he's been in (from Dogma to Cars)will always crack me up.

Fun fact about his role in cars: His character's license plate is 51237, Carlin's birthday (5/12//37) and ALSO, the zip code 51237 is for a town in Iowa named George. XD But yes, he is, was, and always will be awesome, as well as my favorite.

George Carlin was my favourite stand-up comedian of all time! I've been listening to him since 1991 and ever since his 1992 HBO special, I had never missed one...and caught up on the other ones. I will definitely keep his memory alive via my CDs, cassette tapes, VCR tapes, DVDs, and books of his material.

It's so sad...I only discovered he even existed last night. I've heard many of his little rants, my favorites being "Airplane Saftey", "Fat People", "Natural Disasters", and "Euphemisms". I hope he's doing well in whatever the afterlife holds. Unless, of course, his theroy of "Frisbeetarinism" holds up.

lol I was blessed to have seen him live just a couple years before he died, it was when he was still working on "it's bad for ya" so I got to see it in it's rawest form, before he edited it, honestly I don't think he should have changed a thing, but anywho, I know that the Sun and Joe Pecsi are having good times with George up in...well wherever it is they are >>
