Yes I agree that there is a creepy sadness to this, I also feela really fun side that she's afraid to share with her family.
Almost like she knows how to escape the gloom and find the sunshine from time to time.
I so look forward to more.

Hey, I'm from ProjectComment and I wanted to drop some advice.

I love the style you're going for with this! Everything fits the eerie feel I think you strove for. The color pallet is creepy and sad, with all the tones of gray. The blood splatter on the wall is also an awesome touch. The design of the character is awesome too with the long hair and big eyes. Her expression seems cautious and questioning and the lighting you chose is perfect to complete that creepy feeling. I think you did really well with this piece!

Now for things I think you could improve on. The thing that distracts me the most is the hair, It looks okay but the brighter lighting seems a tad all over the place. And the dark lines you used for the hair are a bit too strong. I understand the bold linework for the outline of the hair, but for the inside, I would suggest trying a lighter tone. The only other thing I can think of is a couple small coloring errors. Like her left hand has some colors going outside the linework for example Overall, I think you did awesome on this! Just a couple small things here and there. I think this is a great drawing and I wish you luck on your webtoon series!

I'm from I really love the colour pallet for this portrait. You can really tell what the characters personality is like and the mood of the comic. I like how we are instantly drawn to her face especially her eyes by the beam of light.
