This isn't based on any one Zelda game, though they are primarily based on characters from "The Ocarina of Time" (because I think that's the game with the most interesting characters). I wanted to write a LoZ fan-story that explores the relationships between some Zelda characters that were kind of under-characterised in the games.

You're right that mixing the different Links are confusing, but if I just wrote a story that's based on a SINGLE game, there'll be nothing interesting about it. You can just play that game, and get the story that way. I wanted to do something original and different, with the possibility of surprise. I hope you understand what I mean.

Oohh okay, no, that's fine, I just wanted to clarify it since a lot of people grab the OoT universe and create countless stories based on it (seeing as so much is left open in the game, especially in the child timeline), but also have a terrible habit of drawing OoT!Link as Twilight!Link and vice versa, that is why I was asking.

But I'm entirely fine with it as long as it makes sense I'm a little logic whore, please bear with me xD;

Nah, that's fine. I understand that some people get confused with which game VS which game... that's partly why I chose not to base the story on any ONE game.
