Description I found a new technique for drawing straight lines and after doing some practise pieces I decided to try it on a full piece. I felt really inspired to have a go at designing Moretas country home. The one I have previously mentioned before, where she usually invites her friends over for special events.

I really adore Tudor houses and thought why not make it one of those. I feel it was ambitious, as they have such intricate details to them but considering buildings are one of my weaknesses, this feels like a triumph. All drawn and designed from scratch, I had a computer screen of different building images to help inspire ideas but I feel happy with this design .Β 

I haven't come up with the design for her garden and such, which is why it's flat coloured with a border.

Moreta doesn't spend all her time in residence here, between my anthro world and her homeworld but in her fandom world she had a secret home and I'm working to see if I can establish that into my original world. If not, this house acts as a good fail safe for a permanent home .

thank you, I never felt pleased with how I drew buildings in the past, I alays thought they looked like shit when I drew them. So I kind of challenged myself with this one .

I am happy to hear you think it looks cozy! . I wanted to try and get that vibe, as it is a sort of safe place for Moreta and her friends to stay a while.

ohhh me too, I can very easily stand and gawk at a building of this style whenever I see them. Also thatch roof cottages!

When feeling like drawing her house, it simply just clicked in my head toΒ  make it one of these sorts XD.

When I was at a daycare as a child there was always a toy house in this style (I did not even know what it was called until I read your description), and I promised myself I would have one when I grew up. Thatch roofs are charming in their own way! I could totally see her living in one of these!

Ooooh how lovely! I can imagine a dollhousein this style, how gorgeous!.

Yeah Tudor style, large beams of timber making the frame with wattle and daub walls.

I love how some of these buildings can have really wonky looking walls too, it shows their age and how the building techniiques differed from today . It adds so much charm to them but also makes me worry if they would fall D8.

Luckily Moreta has her magic to help keep this place in top form! .

Ooh, purty! But it must be a pain to keep something like that clean; I imagine Moreta has some very special tools for that job to make things easier.

yes I have imagined she does use her magic to help keep the place in tip top condition . As so far the idea of her not always being there, she uses magic to keep the place safe. There are also some jobs she likes to do by hand though, so she isn't so reliant on magic.

I am such a bloody sucker for these houses, each time I see one, I gawk. They are so beautiful and look so charming. Britain certainly has plenty thankfully!.

thank you so very, very much lovely, you are so kind. . I will most certainly show shots of the interior too! as these houses have gorgeous insides as well as their outside.
