Are you using the sticky sushi rice? It should say on the rice package, and I know it can be problematic if you use different rice. (or so I've heard) My meticulous side prompted me to look up every ingredient and I refused to use substitutes, so maybe that's the difference?
Anyway, these look good enough to eat!
