Thanks! He's about 9" tall or a bit more. The largest hook was a US G, the smallest was a US 9.

Oh this is fantastic! I'll have to commission a Nate from you too - hell I run the Nathaniel Fanclub on here so y'know I'm a huge fangirl of the man... well him and Zevran are my favs, honestly.

Yup, we have a Nate fanclub! And I just added him so you can approve.
How much would something like this go for, commission wise? I have a new job that should be starting next week so I can finally save up for things I want!

Sweet, I just approved it.
A Nate like this would go for $100. That includes shipping within the continental US, delivery confirmation just in case, and all packaging materials and other supplies. He stands roughly 9" tall, or a bit more. I wish I could go cheaper, but they're such a massive time-sink since quite literally every stitch is done by hand, all of the garments are worked individually, and everything is sewn together, not glued. So, they take a lot of time, as opposed to the mirror danglers (which I can usually knock out and have shipped the next day).
I can do him in different colors as well, if you prefer. I'm currently working on a Shadow colorway that's black, grey, purple, and silver. People just REALLY like the Forest one for some reason, LOL, so I haven't gotten to finish the Shadow because I've been busy with this one. I can also add little personal details if you like; a friend's Nate wears silver earrings, for example.

Oh the Shadow colorway would be my preference and I like the idea of silver earrings. I wonder if you can get the eye buttons in a silver/grey color since that's his natural eye color...
I'm definitely going to be commissioning him from you once I get a paycheck from my new job. Him and a Joker/EDI mirror dangler (just need to make myself a reminder to send you references for that one). I can easily understand the price just because of how much work goes into the piece. It's noticeable that it's not something that's slapped together, but instead time and care were put into the plush.

Sackboys traditionally have black eyes, but I could certainly do custom ones if you would prefer, especially since these are becoming more a variant of the whole idea on the whole. If I can't find them in stores, I can rough a pair of the ones I already have with sandpaper and then paint them with an enamel. I'll be doing the same thing with the Nightcrawler I'm making.
I can also embroider a mouth on, if you want his goatee to be a bit more anchored.
I will add you to the waiting list for both! Thank you for being so understanding; a lot of people balk a bit because they don't realize just how much time and effort these things take. I blame the huge bootleg, mass-produced plush industry. So, it's always nice when people realize and recognize that, and can appreciate the investment! (I mean, when I commission plushes, I buy from the artists I do because their work is AMAZING and is absolutely worth the premium.)
And YES! A chance to do a complete Shadow, yaaaaaaay~ I always dressed Nate in black, so it seemed weird to be working him in green.

Nate always had the black for me too, so to see him in green is a bit... odd for me. But if you can find a way to create the grey/silver eyes that would be amazing! Since you're the artist, I'll let you decide which would fit/look better - the mouth to help anchor the goatee or just the plain goatee like this one has.
And while I have no idea how to make sackboys, at one point in time I was crocheting blankets and whatnot (need to relearn how to do it) so I have a very good idea of how much time and effort it takes to put together a quality piece of work. And the detail you've added? That makes it even more impressive so, in my mind, well worth the $100 you charge for a sackboy.
Since you made mention of commissioning plushes, when you get the chance would you mind sending me a note with the list of artists you use so I can take a look at their work as well? I'll save up for a Nate and mirror dangler from you first, then see about maybe commissioning someone you recommended later on for a plush.

Apparently he was in green in some Dragon Age calendar (that a ton of people love, but IMHO made a lot of the characters look weird), and so it was requested that he be in green this time. But, black always seemed to suit him better. I'm thinking of a new cuirass pattern, at least, for the black as well.
Aww, thank you! I wish I could add even more detail, but you can only fit so much on something so small. It's been interesting trying to strike a balance on the in-progress minis I have, especially since one of them is Greagoir. In Templar plate. Eugh. I've been known to do the occasional blanket, but I really prefer amis, since they're a bit less repetitive and thus hold my attention better. Though, I do want to make myself a Nyancat scarf before winter arrives!
And will do.
