Background/Biography:
There's nothing too unusual about Dmitrii's backstory, he grew up with his mother and father in a world much like our own, except the night was constant. Stars, darkness, things that glowed; it was all apart of where he came from.
He had an average life, growing up with his mother and father with one rule: To never cross over to the world of the light.
Curiosity killed the cat, as they say, and Dmitrii's longing for what existed beyond his world's boundaries were just too inviting to ignore and each day that went by, and as he got older, the urge to see what was forbidden grew even stronger. One night, he gathered his things and escaped his world into the world of the light. He was baffled by the beauty, and the creatures, that came from the world where the sun's light was... astounding.
He traveled around the new land, keeping to the shadows as the realization came quick that he was obviously not native to their lands. He had found many interesting things in his years in the light, but none more interesting than a school full of magic users and other creatures that like him, were not native to the sun world.
As his luck would have it, they were looking for a new librarian.
