Description At the moment I have just way too many Loki WIPs (works in progress)...
(I'm sorry for the bad photo quality)

Painting on the top:
My first oil painting after more than 8 years. That's the first time that I tried to paint a portrait! I'm not sure if I'll finish this one, because I used some very old oil paint that was almost dry, so I had to find turps at first... Maybe I'll buy some new oil paints... and brushes... and canvas (I had no canvas left, so I used thick watercolor paper)... But I'm still not sure, because this is my third oil painting ever and I don't know if I'll paint much more?  
Canson "Studien-Aquarellblock" 18x25cm 300g/m², some old oil paints..., ~6h so far

Drawing at the bottom left:
Mixed media drawing of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and The Other (Alexis Denisof). I really wanted to draw "The Other", because I like this actor. This poor guy got his neck snapped by Ronan  in Guardians of the Galaxy, so he really needs some kind of tribute now and that's why I included him in this drawing...

I think I'll never finish this mixed media drawing. I started it 3 or 4 months ago and I think that I'm still afraid of the force field of Loki's cell!

Yes. I already heard something like that. But you can have too many WIPs at the same time. I tend to finish half of them and forget about the rest.

LOL. Loki ist halt mein "Testobjekt", wenn ich etwas Neues ausprobiere! Und es gibt noch so viel was ich gerne ausprobieren möchte: Aquarell, Acrylfarbe, digitale Zeichnungen,...
Ich hoffe, dass ich wenigstens zwei dieser drei Bilder vollenden kann. Glücklicherweise hilft es immer ein wenig, wenn ich die WIPs hier hochlade (als Ansporn).

Thank you! I hope so! I'll try to finish at least 2 of them! At first the oil painting, because I want to finish it before the oil paint is dry (it needs a few days)...

For the oil painting, you can use paper if you want, but no matter what you use, make sure you apply at least a layer if not two of gesso! Without the gesso to protect the canvas (or other material) the oils will eventually decay it. So it may look fine now, but after some years it'll deteriorate.

Thanks again! But at first I have to finish the oil painting, because I want to finish it before the oil paint is dry... Then I'll continue to draw the other two. I'm still not sure if I'll finish the right one...

WOW WOW WOW!!! Ich krieg nen Herzinfarkt, du bist so gut!!! Sieht echt fantastisch aus, kann's kaum erwarten diese Bilder fertig zu sehen (und BITTE mach das Ölbild fertig, es sieht wirklich super aus und es wäre extrem schade, wenn du es nicht fertig machen würdest)!!!!
(Und ich weiss, wie's dir geht: Hab auch viele Hiddles WIPs rumliegen wovon sicher mehr als die Hälfte so bleiben wird.)

Vielen, vielen Dank! Ich krieg hier gleich nen Herzinfarkt, da ich eine angetrocknete Ölfarbtube nicht aufbekomme!!! So viel also zu deiner Bitte. Ich bin gerade dabei!  Eigentlich wollte ich das Ölbild heute fertig malen, doch irgendwie dauert es doch etwas länger (manche Farben sind schon sehr trocken und die blöden alten Pinsel verlieren "Haare"...). War ne blöde Idee ein Bild mit Lokis Helm zu nehmem. Das dauert immer so lange den zu zeichnen!
*Hust* ... das sind nicht alle meine WIPs... leider werde ich ein paar davon nicht fertigstellen. Bei diesen drei Bildern werde ich es aber versuchen.

Sehr gern geschehen! Hab soeben das Ölbild kommentiert, ist dir wirklich gut gelungen. Und vermutlich sind die Zeichnungen, die einem am meisten Zeit und Energie (und Nerven) kosten die, auf die man am Schluss am stolzesten sein kann. Zeichne doch mal Tom Hiddleston als sich selber, dann hast du keinen Loki-Helm.
Und yay, freu mich schon auf die anderen Loki Bilder!!!

Toms zerstrubbeltes Haar ist teils noch schlimmer für mich als der Helm! Als ich "Tom Hiddleston (colour pencils)" gezeichnet habe, habe ich bestimmt 9 Stunden nur an den Haaren gesessen! Aber es stimmt schon, dass man dann besonders stolz auf sein Werk ist!

Ich finde Haare allgemein nicht so einfach zum zeichnen, aber Zussel-Haare sind besonders ätzend. Aber so oft wie du schon Lokis Helm gezeichnet hast könnte man meinen, du würdest es gerne machen.

Mit Farbstiften geht es ja mehr oder weniger, doch mit Bleistift finde ich es irgendwie noch schwieriger. Der Bleistift wird wohl nie mein Lieblingstool...
Öhm. Ich habe den Helm doch nur... äh... hmm... 8 mal gezeichnet. Oh! Und dabei mag ich Loki ohne Helm lieber.

Thank you very much! It's so much fun to paint with oil!^^ But the oil paints and the brushes are so old (dry)... and this can be very annoying!
