Im confused about the white star....shouldn't it be the polish flag or something?

All the tanks used by the Polish divisions were from the U.S, so they still had American markings when they were transferred to the Polish army. I think they did put something onto the rear of the tank to identify it as Polish. But that's just a guess, really.
