"Loop De Loop" A view down the main street of Airlie Beach, they have just finished major upgrades to the entire CBD which is great because I was getting afraid a tourist may fall into one of the many giant potholes that were in the street before it was all re-done and fall all the way to China never to be seen or heard from again LOL.
It was pretty embarrassing before it was all ripped up made pretty, now it's quite nice to wander about the town on ones way to dinner with friends There are still a few things that need to be completed the gardens and roundabout aren't finished being planted up and there are a few areas still taped off that are being paved and turfed but on the whole it's like an 1,000,000% improvement on the very dated early 70's village facade that was here before
