The really horrible thing is that this is a scan of a reduced photocopy of the original image ... so a LOT of the detail and subtlety is lost. Fortunately I have since figured out the scan/piece together trick. I'm still trying to convince ~Dolphinryder to let me take it out of it's frame and do a good scan of it

This I would have to estimate took between 4-6 hours total, from rough drawing to adding details with the pencils. Several of my newer pieces took much longer than this one, but then again this is a rather simple piece

Ah, good memories, and one of my favorite scenes from one of my all-time favorite movies. You certainly got the dreamy expressions right, and the framework really ties it together so nicely. The colors are beautiful, the lines are crisp and clean, and this is without a doubt the most fantastic rendition of this scene that I've ever seen.
I'm also not afraid to admit to buy a dress like hers and having my hair done like that for my high school prom. :3 And that was in 1998...nobody knew what the dress/hair was from. D'oh.

The Crystal Ball was my favorite scene in Labyrinth, and "As the World Falls Down" is quite possibly one of my favorite songs by Bowie. It was just too good to pass up.

Well in my opinion, this is much better. I mean, u spent hours thinking about and drawing and coloring this, and it shows ur wife that u care enough to spend so much time on her! Anyone can go out and buy a diamond! U gave her something much better!

Very romantic Bowie pic. I don't know much about his music except from what I heard in Labyrinth. He should have better eyes though. They're so white that hardly any emotion can be seen like a zombie...that can dance.
It reminds me a lot of The Lovers card in tarot; they just need to be touching each otheres hearts. The background also has an interesting...chrchy feel to it.

I'm an incurrable romantic, and to me, As the World Falls Down is one of the best songs Bowie's ever written. Not to mention that it worked SO well with the nouveau style
