how many people does it usually take to run an entire pirate ship? it's eight, right? i'm pretty sure that's enough.

anyway! here's mspearl's crew of anti-homeworld rebels, including two gems that didn't appear in the comic .

fun fact: third ranked behind mspearl and labradorite and chief navigator. can go from lowkey grumpy to intense anger in 2 seconds. has a crush on tiger's eye but would never admit it.

Ruby

fun fact: the lowest ranked crew member. she likes to stay up in the crow's nest and watch for enemies. she doesn't do a great job but everyone appreciates the effort

fun fact: tied for 5th rank. she's dating azurite. she's carefree and upbeat, and is the most consistently positive member on the ship. she's the one who convinced azurite to rebel.

weapon: none, but she uses a scrying bowl to watch out for enemies and plan strategy.
fun fact: tied for 5th rank. she's dating pyrope. she used to be a high ranking gem on homeworld and is a bit haughty. she communicates entirely in sarcastic quips.

weapon: the Zweihänder
fun fact: ranked 4th. they're the strongest member of the crew and are fierce in battle. they only have one eye, and their gem is located on their forehead. they rarely talk to anyone except for ruby, who is their best friend.
