i dunno, i just doodled an idea i've been bouncing around for awhile. i wanted to design a fusion between steven and any of the gems, and peridot seemed like a good place to start. together, they make unakite! the colors are intentionally kind of ugly (i swear) because even though steven's fusions tend to be pretty stable, he and peridot don't always mesh well. i was thinking about giving them a third eye like garnet's, because unakite is supposed to help you open your 'third eye chakra' or whatever, but i also kind of like the idea of all of steven's fusions being totally humanoid, but in turn not nearly as strong as any of the gems' pure fusions.

also, i am totally ready for this design to be refuted. hell, tell me that steven can't fuse with any of the gems at all! i just need to fill this hiatus-void u_u
