Backstory: Arokh's tale is a simple one and the early parts of it none too pleasant. His mother died bringing him and his still born twin into the world. he would have been not long for the world too if not for the skill of the medic Krosis who was on hoof helping with the birth. His father blamed Krosis and even more so he Arokh for the deaths of both and declaring the blood bay colt a monster. His younger years were full of neglect and disapproval and disgust from his father despite his best efforts as he grew and he made no secret that he thought Arokh should have been the one to die on the day of his birth.

When Arokh was six months his father sent the foal to training with the elite guardians of Jelani. while at the time it was done hoping the colt would die during the training, trials or service. at first Arokh was heartbroken that his sire hated him so much to send him away and hope he'd die, but as time moved Arokh felt more at home with the foals and training masters than he ever had at home. His will galvanised to say fuck the old man and living to spite him. He found a rival and friend in a fellow trainee named Joska though they clashed a few times during their training days with their conflicting ideas and styles. they became warriors and mighty defenders and now years on Arokh is as ready and willing to fight and protect those in Jelani as ever
