Description Eh. I was never gonna finish this so I thought I'd post it. It's the work of a laptop mouse.. I feel the arthritis forming already..

It was meant to show lily's reaction as Voldy AK'd her (and our) beloved James, but I couldn't get the green light to look right. And notice how Harry sleeps through the whole thing. Why? Because if he were awake (which he would be) he'd be crying - damn movies make him seem brave even at age one - and I can't draw babies, I never actually have, so making him passed out from shock asleep was easier. So this is Lily's reaction as er - Voldiddle walks in the room. Or something like that.

How awful though - Lily, 21 years old, with a baby, hears the love of her life DIE in another room trying to protect her, knowing that she and her baby are going to die too.

Thanks Snape, without your pleading for Lil's survival Harry would've died too. :C

Probably not. Voldemort was feeling particularly murderous, and he is one of the most powerful wizards of all time. So it may have bought Lily more time, that's all. She should have apparated the hell out of there with Harry, at least the second she realised she lost James (as not to be dishonourable)

I wonder why they ALL didn't apperate the hufflepuff outta there...

I guess it would be a PRREETTYY short story if all it was, was this -> "Once upon a time voldy wanted to kill 3 people because of a prophecy and the apperated away and lived happily ever after!

Yeah, I wonder why she didn't... Had she done that, Sirius wouldn't have gone to Azkaban...Though I don't think Lily surviving would have stopped him from hunting down Peter...But, at least things might have been better. Especially for Harry.

Well, who knows what would have happened. If I were her I would have gone straight to Dumbledore. Maybe it was a safety thing? Ie: Babies can't travel via Apparation/Portkey/FlooPowder?

It was kind of pinnacle to the plot. She had to die. Sometimes I have to remind myself it's a story and the characters all have fates...

She had to get past the perimeter of the property to disapparate; just like Harry, Ron and Hermione did at Grimmauld Place. They couldn't disapparate from within. Portkey would have been dangerous; they do get thrown about. Floo would be safe enough for Baby!Harry but, as we know, Umbridge almost caught Sirius' head in the fireplace when he was talking with Harry - so, it can be assumed that the floo wasn't connected to the network for security reasons.

Well, Harry was awake and he was actually having a great time, cause he though James was behind the whole screaming-pleading-flashing things, and as J.K. wrote, he though Lilly would get up laughing, and only when Voldy approached him he started crying, sensing sth was wrong...

Anyway, let's say he had his eyes closed at that moment...

Yeah, only problem was I can't draw babies. Sleeping was easiest. haha. Once I've learned, I'll attempt this again! (or not! Haha)
