So I finally did that Spock drawing (in color too!!).

The story here is typical of me -- Spock wearing black. But no really, I love the blue reconnaisance uniform in Beyond and I couldn't help thinking of how it would look in black, with blue on the shoulders for Science. I imagine an AU where Starfleet has this advanced training exercise they want everyone to do and that's how Jim and Spock meet, and of course Jim notices the quiet and really attractive Vulcan in the black Science uniform.

I was initially held up a lot by my frustration with by what I perceived as my total inability to draw legs. Then I realized that people's bodies look weird whenever foreshortening screws with what the mind thinks is supposed to be differently proportioned. So long story short, things look legitimately odd sometimes and that's OK, even accurate. Also, foreshortening is a bitch. I don't have art design software to where I can quickly and convincingly color something this detailed, so I did this the old fashioned way -- draw and scan, then color and scan again. This might have reduced the quality somewhat, but I've wanted to have my drawings in color for a long time, so it's all worth it.
