Oh, how I love Bob Hoskins!Β One of the greatest actors of them all who can play anything and get away with it.Β

So very much agreed! I think of him whenever I catch one of his older movies on TV. Hopefully retirement has been helping him cope with Parkinson's.

Same here but I'm rather sad about it because he was talking about being Eddie Valiant again if there was ever to be a sequel of Roger Rabbit.

Really? That would be like - a dream come true for my childhood self. If a project like that was to pull through, perhaps they can still offer him a smaller, less-stressed role (like the kinds that Michael J. Fox has played over the last decade or so).

Ya, it's definitely an underated movie. Though it does in some ways destroy cartoons for you. o.O

Seriously! But they do that in a lot of cartoons. That's what makes are childhoods awesome!

Ditto - I miss my old VHS tape! Although I hear there's a part III coming out by the author? I think the movie was based on a mix of the first two novels. Wonder if this means a movie sequel in the future?

Thank you so much - glad you could recognize him! The heroes that come with flaws are always the most interesting. ^^
And I LOVE your entire signature... that could fit me to a T, too!

I remember him in Casualties of War, that's one of his lesser known roles in regards to Marty McFly. He was great in that too.

Yes, I remember that! Bright Lights, Big City was another one of his more serious (and difficult to watch) roles. I thought he was impressive in both movies, although they weren't very popular.
