HELLO APOCALYPSE.
Sooo 3 years ago today I got the idea for Pocket Monsters Platinum, aka this huge fanfiction I spent two years working on. The next day I started writing it.
Explanation of art
Welllll this year I decided I'd do something a little different, so sorry for those of you who'd been looking forward to more Zero. Since the original idea was just about Mitsumi (who didn't even have a name this time three years ago), I decided to do a picture that was just Mitsumi. I realized I never got around to drawing a picture of Mitsumi thanking Zero for everything, so I guess that's how this happened.
Not a whole lot to say artwise; I'm just really pleased with how this came out. C: I decided not to shade her legs because I didn't like how they looked shaded (plus Sugimori doesn't bother shading thighs anymore, so).
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Being the tard that I am, some time ago I had the idea of recording "character songs" for some of my Pokemon characters, namely Hamlet, Mitsumi and Nami. A "character song" would just be me singing a cover of a song that reminds me of them while making my voice sound like how they sound in my head. It's kind of a silly idea; something I'd do and then never tell people about ever because I hate the sound of my own voice. But because I had a PC then and no way to record it, I gave up. THEN I GOT A MAC WITH GARAGEBAND.
So there's a little bonus for people who bothered to read ALL THE TEXT or at least some of it. I'm going to be brave and get over my low self-esteem in the vocal department and share with you Mitsumi's character song.

For the record this is probably the most weeaboo-y thing I've done since freshman year of high school when I actually was a weeaboo
Also I have never had any formal vocal training; I just sing for fun

Ahh, that's most likely because my mom recently moved the site those were hosted on to another server... it's been one big mess I'm too busy to fix atm.

I used to take voice lessons and sing in choir but now I just do it for fun.
some thing that sometimes helps with getting better self-esteem about singing is just to sing a lot. i sing sometimes when walking down the halls at school. I get some weird looks but oh well XD

I-I just have no self-esteem about my voice. No problems singing in front of people (because singing is fun), but zero self esteem about my voice. It's kinda weird. I also dislike singing in groups, ergo why I was never in choir. I'm weird okay

Seriously, sometimes when I listen to, say, Americans, singing in Japanese, they have this weird accent thing and it kind of turns me off.
But for you here, I don't hear it : D If I didn't know who you are, I'd totally think you're at least Asian.
It's okay a lot of people feel that way, like maybe me xD I seriously cannot bear to hear my recorded singing voice

This is some really nice art. I like the petals, and that's a nice photo for the background~ You did a great job on Mitsumi too!
That cover with Mitsumi's voice, so to speak, was quite beautiful. You have a nice voice! You shouldn't be shy about that. 
But back to the art. Again, it's really nice. You do really well mimicking Sugimori's style.
