Following the events of The Times They Are a Changeling, Thorax and Spike remained very close friends, and often kept in touch through letters. Spike loved teaching Thorax about the different aspects of pony culture, and Thorax loved to hear Spike talk about stuff he liked. As they grew older, the two only seemed to get closer.

As an adult, Spike is in a romantic relationship with both Pipsqueak and Thorax. Theo is the only (biological) son of Spike & Thorax. While rather large & intimidating to a stranger, anyone who knows him can tell you how much of a sweetheart he is.

Due to his mixed lineage, he isn't able to breath fire like his siblings & Spike. However, using his horns, he can make his underbelly, fins, and eyes glow in the dark. Theo usually uses this as a way to look cooler when he goes out at night.

Theo currently lives & studies in the Crystal Empire, where his learning mostly focuses on inter-species relations. He lives in the castle with his Aunt Cadence & Uncle Shining. Whenever he gets the chance, he travels down to Ponyville to visit his parents & younger siblings.

Theo is considered a local celebrity by the crystal ponies.
