I was listening to Disturbed while drawing this and the title is inspired by one of my favorite songs. (how original, lol)
Anyway, this is Quinny, my new character. Shes a Wolf-Dragon mix, like Shian, but more Wolf-ish. I have another picture of her which I'll submit tormorrow

You do a disservice to your own art by disparaging your fire effect. Sometimes a more representational or suggestive technique is superior to realism, and I think, with the mystical overtones of this piece, that this might be such a time.

Very nice! I love when I see such fine detail work done in traditional media. Things like the lighter patches on the paws that would take a few seconds to airbrush in Photoshop take careful planning when you're using coloured pencils, paints, markers, pastels, whatever. And I think the fire looks great

Don't you hate it when people tell you your style reminds them of someone else's? (I saw a lot of that on the first comment page, and it kind of annoyed me. :/ )
Anyway, congrats on the DD. <3 The pose looks great, and so does the fire in the background! It's definitely DD-worthy.
By the way, Disturbed is amazing. <333 "Voices" is one of their best songs, too.
