My older sister and I didn't get along very much as kids, but Sailor Moon was one of those shows we would always watch together. (Which later transitioned to Buffy and Daria, hahaha)I think the genre (Magical Girls) has spawned some great shows since (Cardcaptor Sakura, or more recently Madoka Magica) but there's no doubt to me that Sailor Moon did for Shoujos what DBZ did for Shonens. I hope the new Crystal series goes well, despite the budgetary shortcomings that people are posting about on tumblr.Β

When I was a kid this was not one of my favorites, but as I got older and heard more about the underlying story... that improved. Not sure if you had any intentions for the situation around this piece, but to me it speaks of first times, surprise, awe, and a soon to come "I can so kick some ass like this! YES!" Or more to the point, she ain't a damsel in distress no more, hehehehehe

It's a beautiful piece. can't fault it at all, but I don't know... the face/jawline doesn't quite seem right but then again it's up to the artist's taste
so if it was intentional, then just leave it at it's a beautiful piece of artwork
