It's probably no surprise that I'm a Star Wars fan, although I'm not very vocal about it since I'm not particularly fond of any of the movies. I'm just really into the lore and expanded universe material.Got super into the Clone Wars cartoon awhile back (the 2D & 3D series), Rebels is looking better too now that they've brought back Ahsoka & Rex~ I'm not holding my breath for Asajj Ventress but I can dream!
Oh and there's the new movie but I've got no expectations for it, haha! Would've preferred if they just did stuff based off of the awesome novels, I wanted to see the Solo twins and Mara Jade T^T

WOW !!! This piece is beautiful. I to am a huge Star Wars Geek and absolutely loved Clone Wars and now Rebels. When Ahsoka left the Jedi temple in Clone Wars, my girls were crying (since she was one of our favorite characters) but I told them, that means she will live past Order 66. We were thrilled when she returned in Rebels. Ventress is one of my all time favorite villans and love your rendering.

ventress was one of my favorites in star wars the clone wars, i loved how the fans of the show could know what she was going through, she was such a great example of how not all villains are heartless and cruel in the end she ended up wanting to stay with her family but the empire destroyed it with a lightsaber something that in the past destroyed everyone she saw as family and ultimately made her turn to the dark side, sorry if i talked to long im abit too chatty at points X3.

Ventress just may be my favorite female character in Star Wars and you drew her beautifully! I adore her pose, the lighting, and the detail on her muscles (so jealous)!

Great picture. Sad that they ended up killing her off in the new expanded universe novels. Then again it also doesn’t make sense to have someone of her skill and competency around. She would have killed Vadar and Palpatine way before a New Hope.

but apparently the timothy zahn books are no longer considered canon I DUNNO WHY

I love it. My only critique would be that her eye feels more 3/4 than the rest of her head. I know her face isn't totally profile. I'm also aware that you've gone for a very stylized look for her. It's just that her eye seems a little too far back for the degree that her head is turned. I'm by no means saying I'm better than you or that I could have done a better job. Cause I can tell you right now, I couldn't.

I'm with you. While I do enjoy the movies, both animated series are probably my favourite pieces of SW media. I only wish Durge was included in the new series, he would have made an excellent villain.

You should read dark disciple its about Ventress her best story yet. I wish it would have made the show.
