Actually, Ivar is a walrus, to be precise. In my story, 'When Instinct Falls', I headcanon that certain species of marine mammals (Seals, narwhals, walrus, etc) have their ordinary tails split down the middle, basically creating two legs for them to walk on if they have to, of course.
