Well here is my colored version of "Festival," my entry for 's June contest.As I said in the initial sketch, the mood of this piece is supposed to be romantic and secretive.
Inuyasha has taken Kagome aside, away from the festival for a quiet moment. As you can see, Kagome is being kind of shy.
And yes, Inuyasha is in his human form, so it's the New Moon.
I hope you enjoy the color version. Sorry if it looks rushed. I love the way Kagome's kimono turned out. The background turned out way better than I expected. I hate backgrounds.
And an advantage of drawing Inuyasha and Kagome as opposed to Sesshoumaru and Kagome, I don't have to draw all the extraneous armor and those damn sakura blossoms on his kimono.
As far as drawing goes, Inuyasha rocks!

Wow! This is totally awesome in colour! You can almost hear the festival going on in the background. I love how Inuyasha and Kagome are looking at one another.
