Description Del Mar Race Track
Del Mar, California
Given a little bit of gambling money from my parents, I was really into the whole win-place-show atmosphere of the racetrack. These two horses were in a pretty tight battle as they came to the line, but not as close as some of the real nail biters. I like how the horse in the back is just holding on, maybe able to make a surge, but not quite out of the picture - please tell me what you think...

p.s. I ended up betting $16 and won $9.20 of it back... oh well.

Very nice action shot! They may use it as a photofinish capture Nowadays I want to try panning technique and it seems that horse races are perfect for that.

I like the way the red and white barrier frames the picture, but it makes the photo seem like it was taken at an angle, which is a shame. its good though, the horses are in a goodpose. Nice work

yeah, the colouring and the framing is good... I would've tried cloning a straight bar in there, but thats personal preferance

hehe - well natural is good too... a lot of mine are just natural with just a border added. It depends on the picture though imo
