Out of curiosity, is he named after Eoin Colfer's character, Artemis Fowl? I only ask because Artemis is actually a woman's name - the name of a great huntress god/spirit/deity/thing, after which A Fowl Sr and A Fowl Jr were named. (Even within the universe of the book he acknowledges this is unusual.)
