This is simply beautiful. Ya know when you "feel" the picture as in almost hearing the voice of that bird's wings, the slight creak of frost in the air, sort of magical "humming" coming from the air surrounding that feline looking creature.. it's like this picture is breathing through my computer's screen with the help of the light wind I'm imagining is taking place. Fav and must take a closer look at your gallery!

What an awesome, ethereal feel this piece has. The "dream aura" where the dog and bird are materializing from is painted incredibly well. Hell, the whole thing is painted inctedibly well, lol. Watercolors have just been something I CAN NOT seem to get my hands to work with. you really do the media justice, and in such a simple, classy style to boot.

Honestly Ink can be a perverbial b***ard! it was pure accident that I came across this method, tbh my 2 year old daughter (Nikka) is the one who showed me! imagine that! I know that whenever I start a painting I never know exactly how it will look until its 100% complete XD I think that is what is so addicting to me

Haha, it doesn't surprise me at all that your children gave you the inspiration. My godson gives me all kinds of neat ideas, and he keeps them coming everyday.
And that's the same appeal of paint over pencils and markers, to me. (I never upload my paintings on account my scanners too small though.) paint is so versatile and workable. I never know what I'm painting till I'm done, lol.

This piece is absolutely beautiful. The colors flow so well together, I especially like the bits of yellow added in (such as the eye) that draw my eye to different parts of the piece. I'm glad to see you back again, Mearu. You have been missed.
