One of the best examples of a wall cloud that I've seen recently. I was taking photos with my right hand out the left window as I was driving fairly fast down a country road, so I was surprised that any of them came out okay. I picked one with my mirror and the blurred fence to give the impression of chasing the storm.I came so close to seeing a tornado this time...

I was wondering where the wall cloud was, but then I looked deeply into the right edge of the storm in that dark contrast and faintly found it.

Great storm image. Your really can see the storm. The motion blur has a sense of urgency.

Thanks, it was something that was necessary at the time of the shot, but I ended up choosing it to include 'the chase' in the theme. I only wish I had gotten some lightning in one of my images.

I feel your pain. I used to frequently storm chase when I was going to school out in Warrensburg. Every time I'd go to where the action was, it would dissipate. Not only that, but several times there were tornadoes near where I left from! Gaahh! I started telling people that they were safe if I stayed in town...

The news certainly doesn't help calm the masses. I was watching in disgust as they actually were saying things like, "Ooooh! What's that over there? That cloud. Yeah, can you zoom in? I think it's definitely a possible funnel cloud? Hmm, okay, maybe not. How about that one over there?" Idiocracy in the form of commerce.
And I do believe that's the second Oz reference you've used when commenting on my pics, young lady. One more and that's, um... three.
