[EDIT] Made his hair redder since it was bugging me.[/EDIT]Kanseru (which I've seen localised as 'Cancer' in places, though 'Cancel' sounds closer... Or maybe Kansel :3) - One of Zack's Soldier friends : D He acts as your tutorial / guide early on in the game. He also seems like he will never take off his helmet, so I thought I'd have a go at designing what he might look like underneath...
Maybe it turned out a little too much like Cloud :/ His hair is supposed to be ginger, by the way. More Crisis Core fanart is on the way, I assure you :3 (SO MANY IDEAS)

Kanseru is also, seriously (canon!), in love with Zack 8D Or at least half-hearted canon : P Just as Zack is about to leave for the Nibelhiem mission, he runs into Kanseru again who turns out to be on his way to his new post at Fort Condor (WOO). Zack acts a little depressed at the mention of 'departures', to which kanseru replies, "What's wrong? Are you really that sad we're going our separate ways?"

I kid ye not. Should you choose that second answer Kanseru will reply, [実は俺がおまえのことが。。。。] which is literally: "Actually, I... (concerning you)" - before quickly reprimanding Zack over who he really likes XD

Yep, official romanization is 'Kunsel'. And 'Rukushea' is 'Luxiere' ;3
I've been trying to draw a pic of Kunsel for ages... I can 'see' what I think he looks like in my mind, but it's difficult trying to put it on paper. I think I got it, though <33

Yeah, I heard about the 'official romanization', but I'm not using it - ever XD These are the people who can't decide between Zack and Zax, after all. Additionally - the katakana used are pronounced 'Can-seh-ru', so the 'kun' bit sounds totally off :/
But yeah, it's amazing how a faceless guy can be so... likable XD Glad you like my rendition too :3

Nonono, this is official coming from Square Enix Crisis Core Ultimania official ; ) (I don't get why they put 'su' on the end of Zack's name, but hey I've gotten used to it now...)
'Kan' and 'Kun' are sort of the same in japanese when you think about it, because they're both said kinda like 'kahn' because it's a shorter 'a' sound in this instance.

Yes I KNOW it was Square Enix who decided it. Official or otherwise, I'm not using it :/ They don't sound THAT similar XD I don't think I've actually heard a Japanese person pronounce Kun as 'kahn' XD;;;
