Man not only are your drawings KICK-ASS, but your videos are just as KICK-ASS on their own. I love watching submissions that have both elements complimenting with each other.

Nevertheless your ink skills are mad - the application of the inks makes the drawing look very much oriental/calligraphy style. It's like applying an art style within one's own art-style! Very advanced stuff.

I like how you gave this clear and crisp finish. There's no bluring involved, just straight out STAND OUT stuff. The art is almost like it pops right at you. ^^ It is a contrast to you other two 1HS entries so far! What wonderful diversity of styles you have. = )

I should really start to utilise the FLIP more often to make sure that drawing looks consistent in both ways flipped.

Anyways another excellent piece - very bold and interesting as always R-no71.

I like to do many kind of style and to explore differents things indeed, and I have a lot of fun with this entry above, this kind of style is really pleasant to do for me, with a result simple indeed but quite efficient in my opinion.

And yes, the flip tool is really interesting, thanks to it you can work on your drawing in both sides and also verify that all is working. Sometimes I even forget on which side I was when I started the drawing. That's a good impression I guess :3

Something I'd like to say about this picture after watching the video. You actually inspire me to try out your kind of style, it is something different from what I usually do, and I love how simple it is Especially the lines for some shading and the cyan around Blaze that just seems to bring her out better. The "cool" and "warm" colors here really do fit! And that is what made me love the colors here.

Also with the video, did you bring the picture into Photoshop? It took me several times to realize it was Photoshop. I am guessing you quickly saved it as a .psd instead of a .sai? Just a curious thought because I've never tried that before.

Yep! I always save as a .psd file from Sai, then I can open it in Photoshop or even Flash or After Effects if I need to.

Among the three "One Hour Sonic" pictures I made so far, this is the one with which I had the more fun; first because I drew Blaze, and also because this kind of style is really pleasant to do, the result is simple and efficient in my opinion. It's deliberately a bit grungy, the objective isn't to do perfect and smooth lines, so you can draw completely free, this is quick, simple and fun If you want to try this kind of style then go ahead! I'm really curious to see what you'll be able to do ^^

I should try that from now on, I totally forgot that I can save it in different formats. That's pretty nifty to be able to save it as a .psd!

I always thought drawing Blaze was something to enjoy. It is just something to do with her character that makes me enjoy drawing her each time, for sure you feel this too. Thank you for the info! I will use your video as my guidance as well, and I will try to practice this kind of style. I need to get out of my comfort zone and try things like this I love variety in styles after all!
