This shot had the potential to be very awesome, but those blades of grass right up on the lens causing DOF really kill your composition. Try to retake the shot on another sunset day, but this time make sure the grass is out of your composition, and try to get a slightly different angle on the person with the tree, make sure the person is a complete silohette. I think that can make this concept a really awesome shot if you just worked on those few aspects. The rest of the image is very nice, you have good detail and outline of the shapes here.

I dunno... I really like the blades of grass... they were there on purpose... I could easily rid of them in photoshop, but they add the appearance of a person actually being there looking at the subject in the tree... they also add a certain depth to the picture

Ok on that note then retake the shot with the blades of grass there, but make sure the blades of grass do not kill your composition, that was my main issue with them.

hmm..its interesting to see the out of focus grass..this really gives that sense that I'm really here looking at this sillhouette. The person on the tree makes this picture really elusive. Great art photography!

I definitely like this piece, you have silhouettes of several things in different perspectives (grass on the ground, tree/you above). :thumbs up:

Hmmm... I think it came out really nice. I like how you can tell exactly what everything is, without the color though and the sky goes great with it, how it just fades like that.
