Description
This is a present to a girl who gave me an awesome present. I like the eyes in hereI've made this a while back, but since it was a present I had to wait with uploading it, and I guess I forgot about it.
Anyway, the unscanned work is quite a lot better, but I guess that's the way it goes with stencils.

I really, really love the eyes, and the way you handled the mouth. The shadows are also impressive without saying; It kind of seems to say that she is the kind of person that can make insights where others cannot.

It was quite a challenge to create a face with just two or three shades. Things like lips and eyes are always hard in this kind of art, as you can see in my other stencils, yet it seems that I pulled them of quite well this time.
She is a photographer, and that kind of insight you describe make for her main strength. You can take a look yourself at ~Lizachu 's page (which is her)

The whole thing is absolutely amazing, but I must say the eyes are my favourite part, they're so wonderfully attention-grabbingly blue!

The blouse with it's silly pattern was rather difficult, but I like how both eyes are a tad different without making the picture look silly. Thanks Rozi : D

The picture itself is so awesome that nothing of the pattern shows anyway, attention is focused elsewhere

It is kind of unbalanced if you'd compare the time spend on the face and on the pattern, but I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Nice work on the folds of fabric; texture is lacking in some stencil-work I see, and it pleases me to see it doing well anyway. The shadows have to be your best asset, though. I can feel depth. I like it.
What was the canvas?

The fabric actually was one of those Lumberjack-vests, with a square pattern on it, so it was rather hard. The resulting pattern contrasts the face better though. The shadows were rather necessary to create depth.
This canvas was the cheapest one I could find, I guess it's not that important
