From Mitzi's Boyfriend #7 (1948)

Yes another Archie wannabe, this one was put out by Timely Comics which would later morph into Marvel Comics.

This is a rather odd story even by my standards.

Mitzi's boyfriend Chip get's booted out of Mitzi's life by her father, just because she mused he'd make a good husband.

The dad thinks this means she is getting too serious with him so forbids her seeing him.

Chip tries getting back via disguises, first a nerdy boy and then an old bearded professor.

Trouble is he can't keep his hands off Mitzi and so the dad walks in on the professor making out with his daughter on the couch.

Next up is a female disguise (and not a great one either.)

But we are spared from a girl on girl kiss when the dad wants to sit with the girls while he reads the paper.

Chip decides that this won't be any fun and so decides to leave with Mitzi.

BUT

Just as they get up to leave, Mitzi's mom comes home and Chip decides it'd be fun to cuddle up with the dad and flirt with him.

But just to make mom jealous I guess.

So Mitzi and Chip escape while dad gets hit with the traditional rolling pin.
