Description
After the "last gasp of autumn" piece I just finished, I thought I'd change back over to "spring-becomes-summer" colors.

This is a forest dragon who was originally designed for a tabletop RPG called Embers of Pyre. The original picture which we used for the game was a fairly simple pencil drawing. I went back later and enlarged it, added a bunch of details, then inked it with Micron pens. I used a red and gold color theme for the cover of my third Kaleidoscopia coloring book .

I finally had some time to color it over the last week or so. I used Prismacolor pencils almost entirely for this piece, save some tiny accents I added with gel pens.

Here is the original pencil drawing from the game, and also the alternate design and color scheme from the coloring book, for those who are curious:

Original art: available for $250, plus shipping. Image is 9x12 inches and will be matted to a standard 16x20 inches.
