Finally, the fifth in the Stone Dragon series: Onyx Shadows....With very little that's really onyx-y. Sometimes it just needs to be purple, you know? And the colors ALWAYS get their way. They're spoiled children, really.

How long does it take you to color these things?

About forty hours on average, but I spread that out over a couple of weekends so my hand doesn't die.

During the drawing stage, I have little arrows sketched in so that I can keep track of the twists and knots. Otherwise I *do* get lost!

Thank you. It combines a couple of my own favorite colors together - blue-green, violet, and black. I wanted to keep it fairly dark and mysterious.
