Description
This is a commissioned piece of the dragon Sun, which I made for a Tumblr friend. He is gold and shiny, and has macaw feathers: definitely a winning combination (and fun to color)!

This is the first time I have used my layering and 3D elements techniques on a 5x7 project format. I think this worked out well, and I plan to start making more pieces of this size.

The dragon was rendered with Prismacolor pencils and metallic gel pens. There is watercolor, scrapbook paper, glass tiles, assorted shiny bits, and Fuze glass (the pink/red round thing below the dragon). There is also a blue shattukite stone in front of the dragon's face, and he holds a piece of turquoise/copper composite. There are also some goldstone cabs along the upper right corner.
