This actually first came to mind last week - I was feeling a bit trapped and aimless, a bit chained down (don't worry, everything's fine 💗), and since Shay is the one OC that I have that milks the drama for all its worth, here she is 😭😂 That binding seal on her chains is different from Haderon's tomb - it doesn't put her in stasis and displace her: it's made to silence her and completely cut her off from her magic on a physiological level. Her body literally cannot produce any magic or call upon anything with it on, which eventually causes her body to enter a sort of withdrawal, placing her in a state of pain and extreme fatigue. TLDR: the anti-magic collar makes her sick and helpless. She's only like this for a couple days before she's rescued, thankfully 😅❤️
