Her Excellency Abbess Ravhana’s proclamation was law. All who lived in the monastery of Ye'Sharua knew this and obeyed without question. At nearly four centuries old, the formidable matriarch was blessed with the wisdom and strength of will to continue her benevolent reign over the citizens within. The Duskblade Guild novice, newly tattooed, had been ordered to escort the Abbess' daughter to the Temple of the Dying Sun. The relics she was to collect were found to have dated from the first dynasty, after all, and having the Abbesss' daughter present for the gilding of the ossuary would ease any tensions among the clergy. Of course, the Yeoman Guild sent their best scouting novice to join the duo as part of her initiation as an apprentice. Such a mission might have appeared too much for mere novices of any sort to undertake, but that was the thinking of an outlander and an insult to the Abbess and the Guild-moot alike.
