Okay, of course your artistry is exceptional. Truly. You capture expressions so well, it's almost spellbinding in a way. Every detail is so precisely done, so delicate and so wonderfully complimentary to the picture as a whole.
Goodness, is there nothing you can't do?!
And I love the choice of paper for this one. It really lends an almost innocent quality to him or a rather hidden depth, a complexity that you can't quite put your finger on with his character. I've never seen the series so I have no idea what his character is like. But I think that this paper choice really highlights his eyes. There's a softness there..and a pain as well. And you just capture that so beautifully.
What my mind keeps drifting to, however, is the contrast that THIS picture creates if you were to place it next to Hannibal's picture. The dark and light aspect really just struck me and I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I think it was brilliant. It's also interesting how the two pictures contrast with the profiles...almost like you see more of Will's personality, but Hannibal's true nature is often hidden in the darkness, undiscovered by the majority of society.
Ah, basically you're just a brilliant artist and I find your work very fascinating. It certainly gives my imagination pause to contemplate things and sparks thoughts...well done!
