Capgras Sydrome, also known as the Imposter syndrome, is a condition where an individual believes that everyone familiar to them has been replaced with an imposter. It could be friends, family, or even the family dog, all feel like they have been replaced with someone pretending to be them. This condition can sometimes be found in people who already have Schizophrenia.

Made in the interest of mental health, I chose to create a conceptual take on the matter, in the hopes of giving this condition visibility and of educating people.

It is a parody on Norman Rockwell's famous piece titled 'Freedom From Want', which was part of a series of paintings called the Four Freedoms. I created a parody of this particular painting due to the immediate recognition and feeling of close family ties that comes with it, to help highlight how difficult this is for the people who have to face this condition.
