Here's another one from my Birdsong series. Inspired by Gustav Klimt and finding a whole cache of iridescent paints in my supply cupboard that I'd forgotten about until the pandemic.

This is a ways in, though. I think it was 2022 when my partner took me on a day trip for my birthday to go to the Ontario Raptor Conservancy. We were only out in the sun for a couple hours, and even completely sunscreened, I burned like a marshmallow. But I DID get some really great reference shots of the birds they brought out for us. Including this guy.
