It's better now that things have been settled at work xD NEARLY got fired for being unable to make rate, but they moved me to a different floor and now all's peachy 8D And I'm trying to get back into school. Have an official tour date next month .w.

Ball State, where is that? o3o And thankye, it seems like I'm actually having a huge creativity boom now that summer is /over/, ain't that how it always goes lD; So with a free semester, I'll probably be flippin' out drawings like a crazy lady XD

Ball State University is out here in Indiana :3 And that's ALWAYS how it goes xD ANd I wouldn't give up art for anything .w. I'd be far too bored without at least a sketchbook xD Yay associate in Fine Arts! 8D I'd be going to BSU for the bachelors of Fine Arts :3 ...Fine arts: Dance? XD You make your fingers do this crazy jig when you gots a pencil in hand! Maybe thats how it got confused...unlikely...but why not? xD

Haha that'd be the way to go--accept the dance degree, then when people ask for a demonstration, just put my fingers on a table and make them do the can-can XD Ah, that's right! Nah, man, your artwork deserves to be on a wall! I have both versions, the colored one and the black and white one, and I rotate them every few months, because I'm picky like that. XD

I've never been to BotCon, but I really wanna go this year, especially if I could see that Cliffjumper in person! Seriously, I catagorize you in the "costume gods" of Transformers O_o I'm almost tempted to have a go at making a costume myself, probably Nightbeat XD Only thing is, I'm kinda stumped of what to do for his big, orange visor. Do you know where Botcon is gonna be this time?

Haha, if only...I'm hoping that maybe if I keep practicing, I'll be as good as Pilot or Mirai. And you should! It's way fun! As for orange visor, hm...well...if you didn't mind it being incredibly fragile, I have a recipe for "homemade plastic", I think it's just, like, really dried out jello, essentially. XD Either that or do what I did for Soundwave, find some goggles that look right, although I'd use window paint or something instead of marker. Or if you wanna get real fancy, get a piece of plexiglass cut and tinted professionally.
As for BotCon, I don't know yet. We're really hoping for New York, so that I can drive down there. If it is in New York, I'm probably gonna be the designated costume mule. XD

Haha if I did the dried out jello technique, I could go walking around smelling lemony fresh (or orangey)XD People might try to eat it though, you can never know at conventions :I I actually found a pair of sunglasses that are pretty close to what I'm after... so maybe some scuplting with orange mylar sheets will make it just right. Real fancy usually means real expensive, but I bet that would make an epic set of shades...
Oh man New York--opposite side of the country for me! XD; I guess the best option for me would be to ship it to the hotel I'd be staying at, I've read that a lot of veteran cosplayers do that. Or, while I'm constructing the costume, just keep in mind that it needs to break down and fold up... Have you ever had to travel long-distance with a costume before, not in a car?

Haha, you could, and I dunno about you, but something that fancy, I'd probs wear around or with other costumes, so it'd probably be worth it in the end, you know?
Nah, bro, you could ship it to me! I've got a pickup truck, I can probably fit loads in there. XD And nah, I've only traveled back and forth across Maine with Cliffjumper a few times, never had to ship it anywhere.

Hmmm... haha you're starting to tempt me now XD; I wonder where I'd go to get something like that done, though... One trick I tried out is placing some colored mylar sheets (cut out in your desired shape) and attatching them to a pair of shades, and putting some of that adhesive car window tint stuff on the inside of the glasses so people can't see your eyes (ruins the illusion a bit if people can see your wild peepers behind apparent robot eyes XD)
That's all that anyone needs to dominate the world--a friend with a pickup truck XD I'm getting so excited about this, I've started a prototype of the helmet... it is gigantic :I but that's what prototypes are for, I suppose XD;

Well, I know in Bangor, there's a place where you can stuff tinted, you can probably find a place like that to get all that done, I mean, /maybe/ they'd do something like that for you there. But yeah, I've seen some people, like Lunatron, she was Swoop at BotCon, did you see her helmet? She didn't have a faceplate, she just painted her face and had lenses over her eyes.
