Wow... this is excellent. The greens are wonderful, what a sanctuary this sort of area would have been... looks most peaceful, I love it. The trees and all their thin stumps just lead the eye so nicely in the frame and really, look superb together. I like the angle too, very unique

The island were all formed by volcanoes, the only active one is on the Big Island "Hawaii" but it has not errupted in quite some time. But there are vents which spew constant lava that runs down to the sea making the island bigger and bigger and bigger
