Description
As a great fan of the alien movie and the Ridley Scott I was really inspired lately by first info about the newest movie called Prometheus. So decided to make some pictures before the movie will be well known or they'll release the trailer.This is my vision of the first human expedition send to discover the unknown mysterious race called the navigators or space jockey. The same organizm was foundf in the derelict spaceship at the beginning of the alien movie. This planes is dead for millenia and should look really different and alien. Its a quiet quick image, wanted to keep it rough and atmospheric.
All done in photoshop, the amazing desing of the landing module was created by Liam Keating, thanks.

This would make a great location addition to an intergalactic race, I mean this kind of real estate pretty much demands you focus on what you are doing or you could possibly get left behind or worse!

The whole (pre-) Prometheus set is amazing. All pictures are breathtaking and arouse the viewer's curiosity.

What can I say... It's awesome! That's what I expected from Prometheus in terms of visuals. Excuse me for being edgy but it really puts the actual movie to shame!

I like this illustration better than the actual movies design , it looks more alien and mysterious.in the movie trailer the jockey planet reminds me of Pandora from Avatar like i just wanna vacation there or something this actually look non earth like and genuinely frightening

OOH that's a good picture of an alien world. Very epic in scale. Though the old days of awesome set pieces is gone for CGI, which can be good, but not always. -_o

wow. you definitely get a sense of upheaval, desolation and despair. something on the verge of collapse or beyond it. a nice glimpse into the realistic horrors of messing with bio-weaponry, maybe? Great work here!
