I actually had a sketch of these two in my sketchbook, and the lineart was half done. Today I decided to finish the lines and color the whole damn thing, lol.
Our scanner was a colour rapist as usual, even though I tried to fix things with photoshop...

Oh well, these are two of my bird OCs.
Temilyjtiden van Vicildavo (the black one), a certain vampirebird species of mine. She's a lady yeah despite of that capercaillie-like tail she has. My birds are tend to be weird indeed..
The bird on the front is some kind of spirit called Qishou. The sizes of the birds fail at this picture since Qishou is actually over two meters tall, and Temilyjtiden less than a meter. Qishou has several kind of abilities, but the main things it can do are freezing things (with an ice beam uuh~..) set things into fire or heal (environment or persons). Normal weapons and bullets do not work on this bird, they'd do just as much harm to it as if someone would be throwing tiny tiny rocks at a tree. : |
